Finnegan’s Hell – “Jar Of Porter” from the new album “Drunk Sick And Blue” out today Sep. 26.
Sweden’s biggest music magazine, Gaffa, about the new video from Finnegan’s Hell:
“The Swedish powerlifter Johnny Wahlqvist makes quite a performance in the new video from Finnegan’s Hell. Johnny knocked back twelve pints of porter within an hour, and would have continued drinking even more, had his stomach only allowed it. The hamburger and fries that he had consumed right before the video shoot suddenly made its way out of Johnny, and the production assistant had to clean vomit off the floor. The leather outfit that Johnny is wearing in one of the scenes used to belong to the world famous, Swedish discus thrower, Richy Bruch, who wore it in honor of Native Americans in the United States. A must-see!”
* The long-awaited full-length album from Finnegan’s Hell, following the band’s critically acclaimed, self-titled EP.
* Includes the Celtic punk hit “Drunken Christmas”, which was voted “best Christmas song of the year” in 2013 by the readers of Sweden’s biggest music magazine, Gaffa.
* Includes the band’s classic version of “The Molly Maguires”, which has become an underground hit on Youtube with more than half a million views.
* “Finnegan’s Hell represents the new wave of European Celtic punk” /The Irish Times
* The music of Finnegan’s Hell has been played frequently on Paddy Rock Radio and is featured on all major Celtic punk websites and radio stations.
